Brussels, 13 August 2017/ ACP: On Sunday, 13 August 2017, Burkina Faso was once again the victim of a vicious terrorist attack, which resulted in several persons being killed and wounded.

The African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States strongly condemns this horrific act, which comes at a time when the brave people of Burkina Faso, mobilised around their President, His Excellency, Mr. Marc Roch Christian Kabore, are firmly focussed on strengthening their democracy and developing their country.

In these painful circumstances, the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States expresses its solidarity with and extends its deepest condolences to the Government and people of Burkina Faso, and also extends its sympathies to the bereaved families.
