The ACP Secretariat joined women around the world to celebrate the International Women’s Day (100 years of Women’s Achievements) on 8 March 2011. In a brief message Secretary-General Dr. Mohamed Ibn Chambas commended the efforts of women in the ACP countries and regions as well as those working at the Secretariat for the important roles they play in the society and their achievements. The ACP Secretariat Female Staff hosted a lunch to honour the day, which was attended by their male colleagues. Here, SG Chambas is pictured with the ACP Secretariat Female Staff.
