Botswana Minister underscores the importance of preserving the unity and cohesiveness of the ACP in the negotiations with the developed nations

Prior to the opening of the 107th session of the ACP Council of Ministers, consultations took place in order to hear the views from the various regional organisations on how they perceived the future for the ACP Group as it seeks to finalise its Negotiating Mandate.

A Special session was held on 27th May 2018 so that all countries could voice their concerns and views. The consensus at the end of the day was that the ACP draft mandate was to be presented to the formal session of Council on 29th May for consideration.

La 107e session du Conseil des ministres ACP se tiendra à Lomé, au Togo, les 29 et 30 mai 2018 sous la présidence de la Jamaïque, à un moment décisif des relations ACP-UE. Cette réunion constitue une étape importante vers l’ouverture des négociations entre le Groupe des États d’Afrique, des Caraïbes et du Pacifique (Groupe ACP) et l’Union européenne (UE).

Le Premier ministre de Somalie, M. Hassan Ali Khayre, a rendu visite aujourd’hui aux ambassadeurs des États d’Afrique, des Caraïbes et du Pacifique à Bruxelles.  Il ressort principalement de son message que la Somalie s’emploie à jeter les bases d’une fondation stable pour rebâtir une nation forte.

Bruxelles, le 26 avril 2018 / ACP: Le Premier ministre du Samoa, l'Honorable Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi a rencontré lundi à Bruxelles les ambassadeurs des pays d'Afrique, des Caraïbes et du Pacifique, exhortant les pays ACP à travailler ensemble pour construire un partenariat authentique et durable contre le changement climatique.
